Debian Packages for VOS
Debian packages are available for VOS. The packages were built on Debian Sid (unstable), and will only work on that version. To fetch them with apt, add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:deb http://interreality.org/software/debian unstable main
Now run "apt-get update". VOS is split into the following debian packages:
Application Programs:
- terangreal
- mesh
- vosworld
- a3dlconverter
- metatronic
- service-responder
- servicelistd
Non-VOS Libraries:
- libase
- libase-dev
- libtypechain
- libtypechain-dev
- libpluginloader
- libpluginloader-dev
- libservicediscovery (May not be further maintained!)
- libservicediscovery-dev (May not be further maintained!)
- libtracking (Will not be further maintained!)
- libtracking-dev (Will not be further maintained!)
- Howl Zeroconf mDNS (Rendezvous) stuff for service discovery
VOS Libraries:
- libvos
- libvos-dev
- vos-metaobjects
- vos-metaobjects-dev
- vos-applibs
- vos-applibs-dev
- libvos-perl
- vos-apidoc
- vos-manual
Full dependencies have been specified so simply doing "apt-get install terangreal" should install everything needed to bring the metaverse to your computer.
